Dinesh Moorjani—a seasoned CEO, entrepreneur and investor—is Managing Director at Comcast Ventures. Moorjani was the founder and CEO of Hatch Labs Inc., where he built more than 10 mobile enterprise software and consumer companies from the ground up. He also cofounded Tinder in 2012.
Dinesh has held leadership roles at IAC/InterActiveCorp and Samsung Electronics in the United States and Asia. He cofounded Saffronart, a leading Sequoia Capital–backed global fine art marketplace and auction house, where he continues to serve on the board of directors. Dinesh spent his early career as a strategy consultant at AD Little, was an early employee at Mainspring (IPO in 2000, acquired by IBM in 2001), and focused on asset management at Goldman Sachs.
He is an LP and advisor at Warburg Pincus, where he previously served as an executive-in-residence. Warburg Pincus is a global private equity firm that has invested $80 billion into more than 800 companies worldwide. He is an active faculty member at UCLA’s Anderson School of Management and guest lectures at Harvard and Columbia. He serves on the advisory board of Harvard’s California Research Center and Northwestern University’s Farley Center for Entrepreneurship.
Dinesh serves as a board director at numerous companies, including Alight and Monet Networks. He also serves on various advisory boards, including American Express (NYSE: AXP) and Assurant (NYSE: AIZ).
He earned his B.S. in Chemical Engineering from Northwestern University and his MBA from Harvard.
